Obituary of Francisco G Fernandez

Francisco G. Fernandez, lovingly referred to as Pancho by those who knew him well, peacefully passed away at home in his sleep on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the age of 91. Pancho leaves behind two daughters, Maria Fernandez and Mirna Fernandez, as well as six grandchildren, Daniel Proenza, Giselle Morales, Carissa Fernandez, Ariel Rodriguez, Vanessa Fernandez, and Alex Fernandez. He was very much loved by his immediate family as well as his extended family and friends, including Genesis Cuella. Pancho served as the family’s patriarch for many years. He is remembered as being kind, caring, reliable and humorous. He was a very talented artist and enjoyed doodling in his spare time. Pancho especially loved to spend time with his loved ones and truly enjoyed playing dominoes, having instilled the joy of the game into his family. He was a man of God and would do anything to help his family or those in need. Pancho is preceded in death by his wife Emilia Fernandez and son Francisco P. Fernandez, otherwise referred to as Paco. Pancho will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all the souls he touched. Rest in peace and watch over us. We love you. Francisco G. Fernandez of Jersey City, New Jersey.
