Obituary of Luis Arcadio Nuñez

Luis Nunez, 61, of North Bergen, NJ, succumbed to cancer at the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on October 2nd, 2022. Luis is survived by his wife Nancy of 37 years, daughters Mio & Yelitza, sons Jason & Raymond, granddaughter Ashley Marie & grandson Ethan Louis. Luis was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He loved sports, especially baseball, where his favorite teams were the Águilas Cibaeñas & the Pittsburgh Pirates. He worked as a foreman for 23 years. He spent his free time watching various baseball games, listening to his favorite music & having a cold drink with his family. He was a loving family man and did everything in his power to provide for his family.

The Nunez family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards everyone that loved and accepted Luis Nunez. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8th. If anyone will like to send flowers, please send the flowers in the color yellow since it was Luis’s favorite color.



Luis Núñez, de 61 años, de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey, sucumbió al cáncer en la comodidad de su propia casa rodeada por su familia el 2 de octubre de 2022. A Luis le sobreviven su esposa Nancy de 37 años, sus hijas Mio y Yelitza, sus hijos Jason y Raymond, su nieta Ashley Marie y su nieto Ethan Louis. Luis era un padre, marido, abuelo y amigo amoroso de todos. Le encantaban los deportes, especialmente el béisbol, donde sus equipos favoritos eran los Águilas Cibaeñas y los Piratas de Pittsburgh. Trabajó como capataz durante 23 años. Pasó su tiempo libre viendo varios partidos de béisbol, escuchando su música favorita y tomando una bebida fría con su familia. Era un hombre de familia amoroso e hizo todo lo que estaba en su poder para mantener a su familia.

A la familia Núñez le gustaría expresar su más sincera gratitud a todos los que amaron y aceptaron a Luis Núñez. La visita será de 5:00pm a 9:00pm en la funeraria Jorge Rivera el Sábado 8 de Octubre. Si a alguien le gustaría enviar flores, envíe las flores en el color amarillo, ya que era el color favorito de Luis.
