Obituary of Alberto Estevez

Alberto Estevez was the best son, brother,  husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather ever.  He was born on October 15, 1939 to Felix Estévez and Ines Garcia de Estévez in San Francisco, Dominican Republic.  He passed away on April 25, 2023 in Sparta, New Jersey.  

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his beloved wife Maria Margarita, nee Nunez, his siblings: Felix, Eladia, Sotero, Hilaría, Mario and his niece Mercedes. 

He is survived by his brothers Benancio, Gregorio, Antonio, his  sister Mirka , his eternally  grateful daughters Joselyn Estévez ( Anthony Samite ), Digna Estévez and  Jacqueline Estévez-Garcia ( Thomas Garcia ), his adored grandchildren Sally Castillo, Melissa Cardella, Jonathan Santiago, Vivianna and Sasha Samite, Nicole Cáceres, Arianna Garcia, his loved great-granddaughters Alyssa and Julissa Garcia, Jazmin Bahamonde, his great-great granddaughters Elsy and Mila Kistner and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Through his devoted generosity he made a difference in many people’s lives and influenced generations.  His legacy will be one of kindness and immense love for his family and fellow men.  He will be missed by all but his caring love will never leave those who knew him as he joins our Heavenly Father. 

His family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the funeral home Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass will be offered at Saint Augustine Church in Union City, New Jersey Monday, May 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Fairview, New Jersey.
