Mrs. Rivera was a wonderful person and like family, to me. When I moved from Los Angeles to New Jersey, she was first person of Mexican background that I met. When she found out that I was too, she made sure I had her cooking :) . She knew I missed my family and she wanted me to feel “at home” .
I would visit her for her therapy, but visiting her was therapy for me as well .
Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories .
